Bayern has been struggling to bring their most desired players into the squad lately. Florian Wirtz and Nico Williams have already slipped through their fingers. But the 'Rekordmeister' continues its relentless search for reinforcements.

Details: According to The Athletic, Bayern is showing interest in RB Leipzig's attacking midfielder Xavi Simons. No official moves have been made yet, but the 22-year-old Netherlands international has already informed the club of his desire to leave this summer, citing the absence of European football as a key reason.

Although Munich's interest is not a direct reaction to Jamal Musiala's injury—sustained in the match against PSG at the Club World Cup, which will sideline him for at least four months—the club is actively pursuing options to bolster its attacking line.

Reminder: It was previously reported that Barcelona is also interested in Simons. Last season, Simons played 33 matches across all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing 8 assists.
