Bayern sets condition for Sané’s contract extension

Bayern Munich is keen to extend the contract of its winger, Leroy Sané. However, the two sides have yet to reach an agreement, as the club has laid out specific terms for continuing their partnership.

Details: According to Florian Plettenberg, Bayern is asking Sané to make a financial concession, specifically to accept a reduction of €2-4 million in annual salary. The 28-year-old winger currently earns €15 million per year, meaning under the new agreement, his salary could range from €11 to €13 million annually.

Reminder: Sané’s current contract with Bayern runs until the summer of 2025. If a compromise isn’t reached by January 1, he would be free to sign a preliminary agreement with any other club. However, this scenario is unlikely, as Sané remains inclined to continue with Bayern.
