It seems that Bayern Munich have come to terms with the fact that Bayer Leverkusen's star Florian Wirtz is headed to Liverpool, so the German powerhouse has picked a new marquee player as their transfer objective.
Details: According to Sky Sports Deutschland, the 'Rekordmeister' have set their sights on signing AC Milan winger Rafael Leão. The Portuguese winger has long been on the radar of Europe's elite clubs, including Barcelona, and this summer could finally see his departure from Italy.
The Rossoneri will not be competing in European competitions, and a superstar of his calibre is unlikely to accept such a situation. He is under contract until 2028 with a release clause set at €175 million, but the strong relationship between his agent Jorge Mendes and Bayern's sporting director Max Eberl could prove decisive.
