Bayern Munich have set their sights on signing Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford and are prepared to make a bold financial move.
Details: According to CentreGoals, citing German insider Christian Falk, the German giants' management are fully prepared to meet Manchester United's transfer demands. Bayern's bosses are willing to pay the £34.5 million (€40 million) that the Red Devils have set for their 28-year-old academy graduate, aiming to complete the deal as quickly as possible.
However, despite both clubs being ready to shake hands, the deal is under serious threat. The main stumbling block is the player's personal demands. Bayern's management are highly interested in the English forward's qualities and see him as an ideal reinforcement for their attack.
Nevertheless, there are concerns in Munich that Rashford's salary could disrupt the team's strict wage structure in the dressing room.
This season, the English winger has played 49 matches, scoring 14 goals and providing 14 assists. Transfermarkt values the player at €40 million.
Reminder: Bayern leader Leon Goretzka is close to a move to Juventus.
