Bayern Munich's winger has returned to training with the team after an injury
During the UEFA Euro 2024, Bayern Munich and Germany winger Leroy Sané sustained a groin injury. He underwent surgery in early July.
According to Bayern & Die Mannschaft, Sané has now resumed training. Bayern plans to gradually reintegrate him into the squad, so it remains unclear whether he will be included in the lineup for the opening Bundesliga match against Wolfsburg.
After enduring severe pain that persisted for weeks, Sané had no choice but to undergo surgery.
It is worth recalling that the Bundesteam and Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sané sustained an injury and had to leave the field at halftime, yielding his place to Florian Wirtz, during the first half of a match.
During Euro 2024, Leroy participated in all five matches for the German national team but did not register any goals or assists.
Additionally, Bayern Munich winger Serge Gnabry is also continuing his recovery from injuries sustained last season.
