Yesterday, Germany was defeated by Spain (1:2) and exited their home European Championship at the quarter-final stage.
Bundesliga and Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sané sustained an injury in the first half of the match and had to leave the field at halftime, being replaced by Florian Wirtz.
According to Bayern & Germany, Sane was unable to continue the match due to recurring issues with his pubic bone. Preliminary forecasts suggest that the 28-year-old winger might miss Bayern Munich's preseason training or part of it.
During Euro 2024, Leroy participated in all five matches for the German national team but did not record any goals or assists.
