Bayern director has spoken out about the possibility of pulling off the Wirtz transfer next year

Bayern Munich director Christoph Freund avoided giving a direct answer when asked about the possibility of signing Bayer Leverkusen's star Florian Wirtz in 2025.
Details: Freund mentioned that Bayern is happy with their current squad but acknowledged the level of the Bayer midfielder.
Quote: 'We are very happy with our current squad. Wirtz is an excellent player, and he plays well alongside Jamal in the national team. I cannot say what will happen in the coming months,' Freund told BILD.
Reminder: Bayern and Wirtz have been linked for a while, but the two sides have not agreed on a price. According to German media, Bayer's stance will be very firm, and they are unwilling to let the player go for less than €150 million.
It was previously reported that the Leverkusen star is also one of Real Madrid’s top transfer targets. If Los Blancos are ready to pay the required sum, this transfer would become the most expensive in their history.
