Legendary Zinedine Zidane could become the new head coach of Bayern Munich next summer, as reported by Bild.

The former Real Madrid head coach has already had initial contacts with Bayern's management, but it's too early to talk about any agreement. Zidane has not yet made a final decision.

It's reported that if Zidane accepts Bayern's offer, his assistant will be the Munich club legend Franck Ribéry.

As a reminder, Bayern's priority was Bayer Leverkusen's coach Xabi Alonso. However, the Spaniard has decided to stay at his club for the next season.

Bayern Munich head coach Thomas Tuchel will officially leave the club after the end of the season. With 8 rounds left in the Bundesliga season, Munich are in second place, trailing Bayer by 10 points.

Zidane has been without a job since leaving Real Madrid in the summer of 2021.
