Bayern broke a series of losses. Kane's brace beats Leipzig

On February 24th, in the match of the 23rd round of the German Bundesliga, Bayern and Leipzig faced each other. The Munich team found themselves in a bit of a crisis and had fallen quite far behind Bayer in the standings. In the match against Leipzig, Thomas Tuchel's charges were obliged to win in order to keep their chances alive in the title race.

The first half passed with Bayern enjoying noticeable dominance, yet the score remained unopened. Harry Kane missed two excellent chances to increase his goal tally, with the Leipzig goalkeeper performing well on both occasions.

The British forward took matters into his own hands early in the second half. Kane converted a one-on-one opportunity after a pass from Musiala. Leipzig had a great chance to equalize, but Neuer saved his team with a superb save after a shot from Sesko. And ten minutes later, the Croatian finally leveled the score with a deflected shot. In the remaining time, the hosts continued to press Leipzig's goal and eventually succeeded, even in stoppage time. Harry Kane completed his brace, scoring his 27th goal in the current Bundesliga campaign.
