Bayern are close to doing a deal that would benefit Manchester United

Talks between Bayern and Manchester United over a move for defender Matthijs de Ligt have stalled, but there has been one development that could turn the deal around.
That event, as reported by Kicker, is the agreement of a move to Munich for Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah. The signing of De Ligt's position rival indicates that the Recordmeister has decided on a replacement for the Dutchman.
But the final point in Tah's transition cannot be put. He will only move to Munich when Manchester United and Bayern finally agree on de Ligt's transfer.
Although the deal for the Dutchman will be simplified, it cannot be considered a done deal. Bayern are balking at the price of £43 million, and Manchester United are not ready to pay such money.
Earlier, the sporting director of the Munich club Max Eberl spoke about this transfer saga.
