Barcelona's chances of transferring a Euro 2024 hero are getting better

The likelihood of RB Leipzig's attacking midfielder Dani Olmo moving to Barcelona this summer is increasing daily.

According to Gerard Romero, Barcelona is in constant contact with the player and his representatives. Another meeting took place yesterday, during which the parties tried to find the ideal formula for the transfer.

RB Leipzig rejected Barcelona's initial offer, which was €40 million plus €20 million in bonuses. However, Barcelona is now preparing a new bid.

It is also known that Olmo's transfer is not contingent on whether Barcelona can sign Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams. The Blaugrana aim to secure both players.

Olmo, a Barcelona youth academy product, moved to Dinamo Zagreb's academy at the age of 16. In the winter of 2020, he transferred to RB Leipzig, where he has made 148 appearances, scoring 29 goals and providing 34 assists.
