Polish forward of Barcelona Robert Lewandowski may leave the team before his contract with the club expires.

According to the Spanish publication Sport, this option is provided for in the Pole’s agreement with the Catalans.

In particular, Barcelona has the right to terminate his contract early after the 2024/2025 season if he plays less than 55% of the matches during this season.

It is remarkable that the Polish forward signed a contract with the Catalan club until June 2026.

Currently, Barcelona ranks third in the Spanish Championship standings after 15 rounds and has 34 points. The current national champion is four points behind the leading Real Madrid.

This season, Robert Lewandowski has played in 17 matches across all competitions, scoring eight goals and providing four assists.

Yesterday, the Polish forward helped his team beat Atlético Madrid and rise to third place in the standings.
