Barcelona plans to buy out the contracts of Cancelo and Felix this winter

The Catalan Barcelona will attempt to formalize the permanent transfer of two players who are currently with the team on loan. They are João Félix, whose contract is owned by Atlético Madrid, and João Cancelo, tied to an agreement with Manchester City.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the leadership of the Catalan club considers acquiring Felix a strategically important task, given his excellent performance at the start of the new season. The same applies to the defender João Cancelo.
In this regard, the Catalan side is contemplating the option of buying both players in January, before their successful performances potentially increase their market value. However, it's not clear yet whether Barcelona has initiated negotiations with Manchester City and Atlético.
Earlier reports suggested that City was willing to sell Cancelo for 35 million euros.
