Barcelona striker to recover in time for Napoli match

Barcelona's forward, Joao Felix, has fully recuperated from his ankle injury and has resumed training with the collective squad.

As per Diario Sport, there exists a possibility that the Portuguese striker may grace the pitch in the inaugural clash of the Champions League Round of 16 against Napoli, slated to unfold in Italy the day after tomorrow, on February 21.

However, the conclusive decision regarding Felix's participation will be made by Barcelona's medical team on the very day of the match. In the most optimistic scenario, Felix might only make a cameo appearance as a substitute.

Previously, the prospect of Felix's involvement in the match against Napoli was categorically ruled out.

The 24-year-old forward plies his trade for Barcelona on a loan basis from Atletico Madrid. In the current season, Felix has notched up 7 goals and 5 assists in 28 appearances across various competitions.
