Barcelona president Joan Laporta confirmed that the club received a €200 million offer for one of their main talents - Lamine Yamal - during the winter.

The Blaugrana leader did not disclose the name of the club but mentioned that the offer was rejected.

“We’re receiving crazy bids for players like Lamine Yamal around €200m and we’re rejecting, of course.

“We trust Lamine and we don’t need to sell. We received bids for Balde, Fermín, Pedri, De Jong, Araujo, Gavi… we don’t want to sell our stars”. Laporta was quoted by Fabrizio Romano.

Earlier, Laporta discussed the possibility of star forward Erling Haaland from Manchester City moving to the Catalan capital.

Barcelona currently sits in second place in the La Liga standings, trailing Real Madrid by eight points. Additionally, Xavi's team has advanced to the quarter-finals of the Champions League, where they will face Paris Saint-Germain.
