Barcelona Offers De Jong a New Contract

Frenkie De Jong remains a key midfielder for Barcelona and, despite rumors of a potential transfer, may continue his career with the Blaugrana.

Details: According to Sport.es, the Catalan club has offered the Dutch footballer a new contract, valid until the summer of 2028. Under this agreement, De Jong will earn around 18-19 million euros per season, but he will not have to pay compensation for the previous contract.

Back in February, Deco met with De Jong to discuss his future. The club is now awaiting the player's response soon.

While Barcelona is also considering the summer as a good opportunity to attempt to sign Bruno Guimarães, who is seen as a potential replacement for Frenkie de Jong.

Reminder. It was previously reported that Manchester United is ready to pay a huge sum for Barcelona's young star Casado.
