Barcelona may potentially bring in two former PSG stars
Barcelona continues to explore the market, seeking candidates to replace the sidelined midfielder Gavi, who's facing a lengthy absence due to injury.
The Catalan club has turned its attention to Juventus' midfielder Adrien Rabiot and Marco Verratti, who currently plays in the Qatar league. This information has been reported by Sport.es.
However, it's unclear whether the Catalan club will attempt to sign one of these players or aim to secure both simultaneously.
Previously, there were reports of Barcelona targeting a star from Manchester City.
The 28-year-old Rabiot has been with Juventus since 2019, having previously played for PSG, where he was a teammate of Verratti. This season, he has featured in 14 Serie A matches, scoring two goals and providing three assists. His contract with Juventus expires in the summer of 2024, and the club aims to extend his agreement.
Verratti has been playing for Al-Arabi Doha in Qatar since September. From 2012 to 2023, the Italian represented PSG, appearing in 416 matches across all competitions and scoring 11 goals.
