Barcelona targets Manchester City star

Barcelona began searching for players in the midfield amid the latest injuries in the team. Recently, the young talent Gavi was seriously injured, and yesterday it became known about the injury of another midfielder - Pedri.

According to Barça Universal, scouts of the current champion of Spain are now monitoring the situation around Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City. It is expected that the club could acquire the midfielder as early as January.

Things are not going well for Phillips in the City camp, because this season the 28-year-old player has only played in seven matches and generally appears on the field very rarely.

The estimated cost of his transfer is 49 million euros.

We wrote earlier that Barcelona intend to solve the problem in the center of the field by renting a player for this position until the end of the season, so as not to spend money on a transfer.
