After joining Barcelona, Hans-Dieter Flick said that he will not pressurise the club with reinforcements, but he will demand a couple of new players. And it seems to be already known who the German coach is targeting.

One of the main transfer targets, as reported by Catalunya Radio, the Blaugrana have identified Bayer sensational defender Jeremy Frimpong. The Dutchman, who is coached by former Real Madrid player Xabi Alonso, has been targeted by the Catalan club's manager himself.

Flick is believed to be a big fan of Frimpong and he has declared a clear desire to bring the 23-year-old right-back into his team. Barcelona, on the other hand, are now considering activating the €40 million clause in the Dutchman's contract.

Last season Frimpong played 47 games for Bayer, in which he scored 14 goals and 12 assists.
