Barcelona fan has opened a fundraiser for the German champion's transfer fee

Barcelona's financial problems have forced its fans to take desperate measures.

One Barcelona supporter has decided to help the club secure a top transfer. They opened a fundraiser on the Leetchi platform for a total of 150 million euros to buy Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz. They started the fundraiser with a contribution of 5 euros.

Earlier, Wirtz expressed his dream of playing for Barcelona. Apart from the Catalan club, the Bayer midfielder is also attracting interest from Manchester City and Real Madrid.

In 41 matches this season across all competitions, Wirtz has scored 17 goals and provided 18 assists. He recently scored a hat-trick in a match against Werder, which led Bayer to win the Bundesliga for the first time in their history.

Today, Barcelona will face PSG in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals. The first leg in Paris ended in a 3-2 victory for Xavi's team.
