Bayer Leverkusen spectacularly defeated Werder Bremen (5-0) in the 29th round of the Bundesliga, securing the German championship prematurely. It's a historic first for the club!

In the first half, Victor Boniface scored from a penalty kick for Habib Alonso's team, and after the break, Leverkusen simply demolished their opponents. Two incredible goals from long range were scored by Granit Xhaka and Florian Wirtz, followed by Wirtz converting a one-on-one opportunity, and then completing a hat-trick in the final seconds.

After Bayer's fourth goal, hundreds of fans even ran onto the field, but stewards managed to escort them back to the stands.

Previously, Bayer had finished second five times in its history, but winning the title had always eluded them.

This match against Werder marks Bayer's 43rd consecutive game without a defeat, as the "Pharmacists" haven't lost a single match this season across all competitions.
