Barcelona defeats Porto and qualifies for the Champions League play-offs from the first place

Barcelona defeated Porto on their home pitch and secured top spot in the group stage.

Porto midfielder Pepe, 26, opened the scoring midway through the first half. However, two minutes later Joao Cancelo restored parity. In the second half, Cancelo made an assist and João Félix scored Barça's winning goal.

Barça are in first place and only three points ahead of Porto, but the head-to-head advantage means they will not give up the lead to the Portuguese club.

Porto have not yet secured a Champions League play-off spot. In the last round, the Dragons will meet Shakhtar Donetsk at home to qualify for the Champions League 1/8 finals.
