The first talks between the parties have already taken place.

Details: According to the insider channel Krrish on social network X, Barcelona are on the verge of signing 29-year-old Colombian national team right-back and Crystal Palace player Daniel Muñoz.

It is reported that representatives from both sides have held preliminary talks, after which Muñoz's transfer demands were sent to Barcelona's sporting director Deco. Barcelona's scouting department concluded that neither the salary nor the bonuses requested by the player are an issue for the Blaugrana.

Despite all the positives, Barcelona have made it clear that Muñoz is not their primary target for strengthening the squad. However, should Barcelona fail to achieve their main objectives in the transfer market, the Colombian's move could become a very realistic scenario.

This season, Muñoz has played 14 matches for Palace, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists. His current contract with the club runs until 2028, and his market value according to Transfermarkt stands at €25 million.
