Barcelona are working on a reinforcement plan for the summer transfer window

Despite ongoing financial difficulties—though the club claims they have now been overcome—Barcelona is planning significant reinforcements for the summer transfer window.

Details: According to Diario Sport, sporting director Deco is working on signing a left winger and a central defender. However, at the request of head coach Hansi Flick, a right-back has now been added to the list of priorities.

Flick reportedly sees the right-back position as more urgent than the left flank, which had previously been considered a top priority. The club is targeting a player who can immediately slot into the starting lineup without requiring an adjustment period.

However, all incoming transfers depend on Barcelona’s ability to generate funds through sales, as the club must still adhere to the 1:1 spending rule.

Reminder: La Liga recently announced plans to challenge Barcelona’s registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor.
