Barcelona aims to extend contracts with three key players

Barcelona values its top players, and the club is making every effort to keep them for as long as possible.

Details: According to Mundo Deportivo, the club’s priority is extending the contracts of Pedri, Gavi, and Ronald Araújo. Currently set to expire in 2026, Barcelona hopes to extend these contracts until 2030.

The only challenge in negotiations has been with Araújo, who was close to joining Bayern Munich last winter. However, he is now reportedly inclined to continue his career at Barcelona. Sporting director Deco has already been in contact with the players’ agents.

Reminder: Gavi is currently finishing his recovery from an injury he sustained in November 2023 in camp of the Spanish national team. Recently, Barcelona’s potential compensation under FIFA’s program for player injury was disclosed.
