South African's Banyana Banyana left for Morocco this evening as they were greeted by a group of supporters who sang and wished them luck for the WAFCON tournament which starts next week.
Banyana coach Desiree Ellis named her squad yesterday which largely consisted of the tried and tested players the coach relied on for the past four years.
Ellis stressed that the upcoming WAFCON would be their ticket to qualify for next year's Women's World Cup.
