A strong start to the tournament for the South African women's national team.
Details: Today in the Moroccan city of Oujda, the first group stage match of the Women's Africa Cup of Nations took place in Group C, featuring South Africa and Ghana.
Thanks to a commanding performance, Banyana Banyana were up 2-0 before halftime with goals from Linda Motlhalo and the legendary Jermaine Seoposenwe.
Ghana had several decent chances throughout the match, but Banyana Banyana goalkeeper Andile Dlamini put on a solid display to keep the clean sheet and secure the win.
