Bale reveals Salah's motive behind contract comments

Mohamed Salah's recent statements about Liverpool not offering him a contract shocked many, but former Real Madrid player Gareth Bale seems to know what’s really behind the Egyptian’s words.

Details: According to the Welshman, the reason for Salah’s comments is fairly simple—he is merely trying to secure a larger paycheck from Liverpool.

Quote: "We never talk about these topics in locker room, we always talk about training or life in general. I don't think it will affect anyone. This needs to be dealt with by Salah's agent. I’m sure he’s just making noise to get more money, honestly!" Bale said during an appearance on TNT Sports.

Reminder: Earlier, Fabrizio Romano shared his thoughts on Salah’s future, stating that it is still far too early to draw conclusions about the forward's situation.
