Thabang Matuludi has agreed to join Betway Premiership champions Orlando Pirates.
The Bafana Bafana right-back has signed a three-year deal with Pirates with an option to renew for a year.
Matuludi's arrival at the Sea Robbers puts to bed the speculation that he is joining Kaizer Chiefs, who have also been interested in him.
Much like it was the case with Oswin Appollis, who was linked to Chiefs but ended at Pirates, Matuludi's case is similar.
With the departure of Thabiso Lebitso to Stellenbosch FC, Pirates saw Matuludi as the perfect replacement for the former Chippa United defender.
Matuludi will only compete with Deeno Van Rooyen at the right side of the Pirates rearguard.
