Sipho Mbule expressed happiness at Bafana Bafana’s ability to go past group stages in the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
For a moment, it did not look like Bafana will make it past Group B as Zimbabwe matched them pound for pound in the last match of the group.
The game ended 3-2 to Bafana after Tshepang Moremi, Lyle Foster and Oswin Appollis netted for Hugo Broos’ troops.
“We are very much relieved. Everyone showed hunger, discipline and the will to win and to make it past the group stage," Mbule said.
“Coach gave me some tools and advice for the second half, saying that I should move a little bit more and that I mustn't stay too long with the defensive midfielder.
"With what he told me, I'm definitely going to use it going forward."
