Back with Hennessey: Nottingham Forest to bring back former goalkeeper
In May last year, Nottingham Forest parted ways with veteran goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey. However, the farewell proved temporary, as the 37-year-old is set to return to the Premier League side.
Details: According to head coach Nuno Espírito Santo, Hennessey has regained fitness during his rehabilitation and is ready to share his experience with fellow goalkeepers Mats Sels and Carlos Miguel, whom he will back up for the remainder of the season.
Quote: "Unfortunately, Wayne suffered a serious injury at the end of last season, and it was a tough moment for everyone on the training ground. But he’s improved, and now he’s a big part of us, especially within the goalkeeper community, which is a small group.
He’s signed a contract, and I’m delighted to have him here. His knowledge, his experience, and his approach to his work are all fantastic," said Nottingham Forest’s head coach.
