Back to Serie B. Filippo Inzaghi appointed as Palermo head coach

Recently, Filippo Inzaghi led Pisa to Serie A, but just a few days later, he left the club. However, his coaching hiatus didn’t last long.
Details: Palermo has officially announced that Filippo Inzaghi is the new head coach of the team. He will take charge starting July 1. The contract is said to be for several years, though the exact terms remain undisclosed.
Incidentally, a derby between the Inzaghi brothers is now off the table — Simone, the more successful manager, has left Inter Milan to join Saudi side Al Hilal. The former Italy striker began his coaching career at AC Milan, managing the Rossoneri for one season before guiding Venezia up from the third division.
Reminder: Giuseppe Meazza will receive between one and one and a half million euros — this is because Inzaghi was in the final year of his contract with Inter.
