Real Madrid defender Éder Militão will be sidelined for about two weeks after sustaining an injury during Brazil's friendly against Tunisia, which took place in France on Tuesday.

Details: The Madrid club has officially confirmed the diagnosis: the player has suffered a muscle injury to the right leg's large adductor. Real Madrid clarified that the defender is now awaiting further updates on his recovery progress.

Because of this setback, Militão will miss at least three matches:

  • an away fixture against Elche this coming Sunday;
  • the Champions League clash with Olympiacos (November 26);
  • the game against Girona on November 30.

The Brazilian could be back in time for the La Liga showdown against Athletic Bilbao on December 3.

This season, the centre-back has made thirteen appearances for Los Blancos, contributing one goal and one assist.

Real's next match is set for Sunday, November 23, at 21:00 Central European Time.

Reminder: Turkish side Galatasaray continues to push for the loan signing of Real Madrid winger Rodrygo.
