Australian Nina Kennedy became the Olympic champion in pole-vaulting at the 2024 Games in Paris.

The 27-year-old Australian vaulted to a height of 4.90 meters. The silver medal went to Katie Moon from the USA (4.85 meters). The bronze medal was claimed by Canada's Alysha Newman.

Kennedy has now added Olympic gold to her accolades. She is the 2023 World Champion, the 2022 Commonwealth Games champion, and the bronze medalist at the 2022 World Championships.

She participated in the 2020 Olympics and is a three-time Australian champion (2018, 2021, 2022). Furthermore, she holds the Australian national record of 4.90 meters (2023).
