On Sunday, July 28, the women's kayak single (K1) slalom competition took place at the 2024 Olympics.

The gold medal was claimed by Australian Jessica Fox. In the final run, she outpaced Poland's Klaudia Zwolińska.

The bronze medal went to Kimberly Woods from Great Britain.

Notably, this is Fox's fourth Olympic medal and her second gold, following her victory at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Australia now has a total of six medals at the Paris Olympics—four golds and two silvers.
