The transfer is nearly complete.

Details: According to reports from Fabrizio Romano on social media platform X, 36-year-old Gabonese forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is on the verge of joining Olympique de Marseille.

Earlier, it was reported that Aubameyang was set to leave Saudi side Al-Qadsiah as a free agent, but until recently, there was no information about his next club. Now, it is reliably known that the Gabonese star is in negotiations with French club Marseille.

At the moment, the main topic of discussion is the player's salary at his prospective new club. If both parties can reach an agreement, the transfer could be finalized in the coming days.

In the previous season, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made 36 appearances for Al-Qadsiah, scoring 21 goals and providing 3 assists.
