A reunion in the making? Allegri wants to bring Rabiot to Milan

French midfielder Adrien Rabiot has played more matches under Massimiliano Allegri than with any other coach in his career. Now, with Allegri’s arrival at Milan, the Italian tactician hasn’t forgotten about his former protégé.
Details: According to Tuttomercatoweb, the returning Rossoneri head coach wants Rabiot to make the move to San Siro. There should be no issues with Marseille, who own the midfielder’s contract, since it includes a release clause set at ten million euros.
A salary of three and a half million euros is not an obstacle for Milan, but the real challenge is that the Rossoneri won’t be playing in European competitions next season—while Marseille can guarantee Rabiot Champions League football thanks to their Ligue 1 runner-up finish.
Reminder: Milan’s midfield is also set for reinforcement by Luka Modrić, who has already agreed terms with the club, but will only sign his contract after the June international break.
