Attempt number two! Chelsea preparing a new pursuit of Juventus wonderkid
The London club have not abandoned their ambition to sign one of European football’s most gifted young forwards.
Details: English side Chelsea could once again step up their interest in 19-year-old Bosnian forward Kerim Alajbegovic of Juventus ahead of the 2027 summer transfer window.
The Blues held substantive talks over a move for the talented winger last summer, but the player opted to join Italy’s Serie A instead. Chelsea’s scouting department continues to closely monitor the forward’s progress in Turin: if the Bosnian maintains his excellent form and consistency throughout the season, Chelsea will return to negotiations with the Bianconeri with an improved financial offer.
Juventus view the forward as a cornerstone of their long-term sporting project and have little desire to part with such a valuable asset. Nevertheless, the persistence of representatives from the English Premier League could spark a major transfer saga at the end of the season.
It is worth noting that Kerim Alajbegovic joined Juventus from Bayer Leverkusen for a fee of around €35 million and is also one of the youngest players in the history of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, having already represented his country at the 2026 World Cup.
