Chelsea leader leaving? The answer is already known
Estevao is not turning his lack of Premier League minutes into a transfer battle.
Details: According to Football Insider, the 19-year-old Chelsea winger has no intention of pushing to leave Stamford Bridge despite playing only 23 minutes in the Premier League this season. The Brazilian is prepared to remain patient and wait for more opportunities under Xabi Alonso.
Chelsea's position is just as clear. The London club have no plans to sell Estevao in the near future and continue to hold extremely high hopes for one of the most highly rated young players in their squad.
Xabi Alonso also considers the Brazilian an important part of his long-term project. Despite the youngster's limited role at the start of the campaign, the Chelsea head coach is reportedly counting on him as the season develops.
Competition for attacking places has made regular Premier League football difficult to secure. However, the winger remains happy at Stamford Bridge and is not currently looking to force a move during one of the upcoming transfer windows.
It is worth noting that Chelsea's official statistics currently credit Estevao with eight appearances, 245 minutes and one goal in all competitions this season. Last term, the Brazilian made 36 appearances for the Blues, scoring eight goals and providing three assists.
