ATP Finals 2023. First match day schedule
Today marks the beginning of the ATP Finals in Turin. Previously, we covered the group draw results for the ATP year-end championship.
This tournament will be in its 54th edition for singles and 49th for doubles, and Turin will be hosting the ATP Finals for the third time.
The ATP Finals' group stage follows a round-robin format: eight players/teams are divided into two groups of four, and each player/team within the group plays against the other three. The eight seeded individuals were determined based on their ATP rankings and the ATP team rankings in doubles after the last ATP Tour event in the calendar year. All singles matches, including the final, are conducted in a best-of-three sets format with tiebreakers in each set, including the third set. Doubles matches consist of two sets and a tiebreaker.
Today, on the opening day, four matches will take place, two in singles and two in doubles, all played within the green groups.
Please note that the match times indicated are in Central European Time.
