Atlético's leader has issues before match against Borussia. He left team's training prematurely

Atlético Madrid's leader, Memphis Depay, is experiencing minor health issues ahead of the match against Borussia in the Champions League.

As reported by Diario AS, the Dutch forward left Atlético's training session prematurely on Saturday.

It is expected that the club will provide updated information in the coming days regarding the player's physical condition and whether his departure was precautionary or indicative of a more serious problem.

In the current season, the 30-year-old Dutchman has scored nine goals and provided two assists in 28 matches across all competitions.

Atlético will host Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals on Wednesday, April 10. In the Spanish La Liga, Diego Simeone's team currently holds the fourth position after 30 rounds.
