Details: According to Fichajes, Atlético Madrid head coach Diego Simeone has urged the club’s management to do everything possible to sign Fermín López.

Simeone believes Atlético desperately needs a player with López’s profile and hopes to convince him to make the switch.

This season in La Liga, Fermín has played 15 matches, scoring 3 goals and providing 2 assists. However, he has only started in five games.

In October, the 21-year-old midfielder extended his contract with Barcelona until the summer of 2029.
