Atletico Madrid makes surprise move in race for Marc Guehi

Atletico Madrid has shown strong interest in Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi, whose contract runs until 2026.
Details: According to journalist Diego Moretto, Atletico has already made contact with the player’s entourage. However, the race is expected to be fierce: European giants such as Bayern, Barcelona, and several Premier League heavyweights are also in the hunt for the Englishman. Guehi was previously close to joining Liverpool, but the transfer collapsed at the last moment.
It’s worth noting that Guehi has played in several matches for Crystal Palace across all competitions this season, scoring once and providing three assists.
Atletico currently sits fourth in La Liga with 28 points. Today, Diego Simeone’s side will host Real Oviedo.
