Atletico Madrid has received excellent news, as defender Robin Le Normand is back in training after recovering from a head injury.

Details: The Spanish defender of French origin has been sidelined since the Madrid derby against Real on September 29, when he sustained a head injury. Although scans showed no significant issues, Los Colchoneros have been cautious with the 28-year-old, implementing a gradual return.

On Wednesday, Le Normand participated in part of the team training session for the first time since his injury. He then completed the second part of the session with an individual rehabilitation workout.

Reminder: The Franco-Spanish defender is at the peak of his career, having transferred to Atletico this summer for €34.5 million and playing a crucial role in Spain’s Euro 2024 victory as a starting center-back.
