Atletico are keeping tabs on three Girona players

Sensational Girona, who are close to playing in the Champions League for the first time in history if not becoming Spanish champions, have become a great showcase for promoting players to top clubs. One such wants to take as many as three Catalan players.

Atlético has paid particular attention to Girona, and it is Diego Simeone who, according to Mundo Deportivo, is keeping an eye on the Catalan club's players, with all three covering different roles: forward Artem Dovbyk, midfielder Aleix Garcia and wing-back Arnau Martinez.

The latter was close to a move to the Wanda Metropolitano last year, and the player had already reached an agreement in principle to move to Atlético, but the deal fell through.

Recall, earlier it was reported that Girona valued Dovbyk at 28 million euros.
