Athletic determined to keep Williams on the squad once again

After Barcelona dropped out of the race for Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams, it seemed the Basques could finally breathe easy. However, the battle to keep their star player is far from over.
Details: According to Marca, Athletic believes the conditions that led to last year's contract extension still remain in place. The club offers Williams the perfect environment for growth, Champions League football, and a chance to take the field alongside his brother Iñaki, now team captain.
Yet, the club is well aware that turning down lucrative offers from abroad will be a tough challenge this time. European heavyweights like Bayern, Arsenal and Chelsea are closely monitoring Williams' situation.
Recall: Earlier reports suggested that the winger is reluctant to move to English clubs, instead considering a switch to Barcelona. Nevertheless, the Blaugrana do not currently view the 22-year-old Spaniard as a top priority.
