Next season, La Liga will have one less veteran on the pitch.
Details: Athletic Bilbao legend Óscar De Marcos has decided that the current season will be his last.
The 35-year-old right-back officially informed his teammates of his decision during this morning’s training session.
De Marcos, a product of Alavés’ academy, has been playing for Athletic since 2009. He has made 560 appearances for the Basque club, scoring 39 goals and providing 65 assists.
