In the winter transfer window, there was a lot of talk about the interest of one or another top club in Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners, but the transfer did not happen. Now the word on his future has taken the player himself.

He has admitted interest from Napoli and wants to leave Bergamo in the summer:

"Last summer there was already a concrete interest from Napoli. The clubs were negotiating, but it all ended in vain. I told Atalanta that I want to move to another team next summer, but it would have to be something very nice to swap it for Bergamo.

Me and my girlfriend are having a great time in Italy, but I can also rain for some clubs in England. I'm hoping those will be good options I can think about. And then I hope Atalanta will get a good sum for me," - quotes the Dutchman De Telegraaf.

Earlier it was reported that the Bergamaschi valued Koopmeiners at €60 million, and Juventus and Premier League clubs were interested in him.
