Atalanta has reached an agreement to purchase the talented midfielder from AC Milan

Atalanta has reached an agreement to purchase the midfielder Charles De Ketelaere from AC Milan and the Belgian national team.
According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Atalanta has agreed to pay €22 million to the Rossoneri for the attacking midfielder, which is €1 million less than the initially agreed amount.
De Ketelaere spent the past season on loan at Atalanta, for which the Bergamo club paid €3 million. The Belgian played 50 matches for Atalanta, recording 14 goals and 11 assists.
Two years ago, Milan paid Club Brugge €36.5 million for De Ketelaere. The transfer portal Transfermarkt values the 23-year-old player at €34 million.
Additionally, Milan officially announced the appointment of a new head coach today. The Rossoneri will be led by former Lille coach Paulo Fonseca, with a three-year contract.
