Aston Martin star Fernando Alonso shares personal vacation photos from Monaco
Formula 1 star Fernando Alonso has already arrived in Monaco, where the next stage of the F1 Grand Prix is set to begin. The Aston Martin driver shared several personal snapshots of his downtime in Monte Carlo on his Instagram stories.
The Spaniard decided to make good use of his free time, starting with lunch at the local restaurant La Rose Des Vents, located in Monte Carlo. According to information on their official Instagram page, this venue specializes in Italian seafood dishes.
Afterwards, he headed to the Monaco Automobile Club, the venue for the upcoming Grand Prix, and took a few photos with the local mascot.
It’s worth noting that the Grand Prix kicks off tomorrow, Friday, May 23, with two free practice sessions. The third free practice and qualifying will take place on Saturday, while the main race, as usual, is scheduled for Sunday.
Fernando Alonso will be fighting to score his first points of the current season. The Spaniard currently sits 17th in the standings. Alongside him, four other drivers—Lawson, Doohan, Bortoleto, and Colapinto—are also yet to open their accounts.
